Flag hoisting by CM Yogi marks inauguration of BJP Foundation Day celebrations

Lucknow: On the occasion of BJP’s 42nd foundation day, celebrations were started with pomp at the party headquarters in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath started the fortnight-long event by hoisting the flag at the state office.

BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh and both deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and organization minister Sunil Bansal and other senior leaders of the party were present in the ceremony organized.

Addressing the party workers on this occasion, Yogi said that the journey of BJP is a matter of curiosity for the analysts of the country and the world. Referring to the ideology of nationalism of the BJP, he said that the biggest example of this was Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee who had sacrificed for Kashmir.

Yogi said that it is the result of the resolve of BJP workers for social service and public welfare that the Modi government has done the work of providing free ration to 80 crore people during the biggest epidemic of the century.

On this occasion, State President Swatantra Dev Singh said that the spirit of dedication and patriotism is the specialty of BJP which is not seen in any other party.

He said that due to this uniqueness, BJP has emerged as the strongest organizational unit in the world. On the foundation day of BJP, BJP flag is being hoisted at the houses of party workers across the state.

At the same time, party workers are taking out padyatras in all the blocks. Along with this, party workers across the country also heard the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through digital medium.

Here in the state office, Yogi and his government ministers and BJP workers also listened to Prime Minister Modi’s address which started at 10 am.

On the occasion of Foundation Day, it has been decided by the party to celebrate ‘Social Justice Fortnight’ across the country from 07 to 20 April. Its purpose is to provide new energy to the party by revealing the commitment of the BJP for the empowerment of the poor, deprived, exploited, downtrodden and backward classes.
