Flickers Brothers dribble their way to glory at city Hockey competition

Lucknow: Flickers Brothers (Haryana) demolished Raja Karan Hockey (Haryana) 13-0 while Hockey Haryana defeated Royal Hockey Academy, Punjab, 11-0, in one-sided encounters on the third day of the 33rd All India KD Singh ‘Babu’ Memorial U-14 Hockey Tournament at the Padma Shri Mohd Shahid Stadium.

In the first match, Dhayanchand Academy edged past TWC Manipur 1-0. For Dhyanchand Academy, K Sai Charan scored the lone goal in the 35th minute. Southern Hockey Academy, Tamil Nadu, defeated Tamil Nadu

 Hockey Academy 2-0 in another match of the day. For Southern Hockey, M Mukundan scored two goals (13th & 25th minutes).

In the third match, Flickers Brothers, Haryana trounced Raja Karan Hockey (Haryana) 13-0. For Flickers Brothers,Jaskirat scored seven goals (11th, 14th, 22nd, 42nd, 56th, 57th, 58th minutes) while Aryan (5th & 53rd minutes) and Dilpreet (19th & 24th minutes) scored two goals each. Virat Singh (59th minute) and Anshpreet (45th minute) scored one goal each.

Hockey Haryana defeated Royal Hockey Academy 11-0 while Round Glass Punjab beat Bhilwara Hockey 8-0.

In the last match of the day, Naval Tata Odisha defeated Uttar Pradesh Blue 2-0. For NTO, Sushanta Ekka (44th & 54th minutes) scored two goals.
