Forest Officials have an important role to play – Governor Anandiben Patel
Lucknow: Governor Anandiben Patel reached district Pilibhit on her three-day visit late evening on November 21, 2022 and met and held talks with senior officers and forest workers of the district. On this occasion, while addressing the forest personnel, the Governor said that the protection of the people of the society from wild animals is an important task by them.
Instructing the concerned officers, he said that it is necessary that all of us also fulfill our responsibilities towards them in a better way so that all the forest workers can perform their duties along with taking care of their families. , He directed the Divisional Forest Officer to construct a hospital and school for the families/children of forest personnel.
Governor took information from the forest personnel about the benefits of the schemes run by the Central/State Government. She directed the officers of the district to get the children of the forest personnel admitted in the short-sent schools. She said that children who do not take admission in graduate education after passing intermediate should ensure that such drop out children are identified and given admission in higher education, so that no child can be deprived of education.
On this occasion, the Governor distributed field kits to vet watchers, security workers, mahouts and wireless operators of the forest department.
It is known that November 21 was also the birthday of the Governor of the state. The forest workers and other attendees celebrated his birthday enthusiastically on the occasion.
