Former U.P. Governor Ram Naik inaugurates two day International Urdu Conference
Lucknow: The Fourth International Urdu Conference was held at Malviya Hall of Lucknow University. It was inaugurated by Ram Naik, former Governor of Uttar Pradesh. It was to be presided over by Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of U.P. He had to attend programs with Defense Minister, Government of India, so in his absence, it was presided over by Prof. Sharib Rudaulvi. Brajesh Pathak said that whatever help is available from his level will be done.
People from countries like America, Canada, Namibia, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Myanmar etc. were also present in the fourth conference. Dr. Ammar Rizvi said that Urdu is the language of India. Amir Khusro named it Hindavi. Dr. Rizvi said that in 1947, the neighboring country wanted to use the Urdu language wrongly, due to which the neighboring country got divided into two parts.
Dr. Rizvi said that the effort of this conference is to bring national unity and world peace through languages. He said that a Darul Tarjuma would be established in the name of Pandit Naval Kishore.
He said that about 600 million people speak Urdu in the world, so it should be recognized in the United Nations. Dr. Rizvi said that he would request the Honorable Chief Minister that Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Bhasha Vishwavidyalaya should be known by its old name Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Persian University, as it was at the time of its establishment.
Among those bestowed with top honours were Prof. Raj Bisaria with Wajid Ali Shah Award, Ravi Bhatt with Pandit Ratan Nath Sarshar Award, Manish Shukla with Pandit Brijnarayan Chakbast Award, Jayant Krishna with an award to acknowledge role for services to the culture and language of Awadh. Late Gobind Ram was honored with the award for the establishment of Universal Book Depot and the services done to the literary world, which was received by his son Chander Prakash alias Chandu Babu.
Dr. Rizvi in his welcome address said that Dr. Arif Naqvi from Germany, Dr. Ehsan Zaidi from UK, Dr. Taqi Abdi and Rehan Khan from Canada, Mohib Haroon from Australia, Rizwan Siddiqui from UAE and Retired Justice of High Court of Nepal Dr. Salahuddin Akhtar Siddiqui has invited to hold the next conference in his country.
Ram Naik, former Governor of Uttar Pradesh said that Naimish is at some distance from Lucknow, from where Maharishi Vyas gave the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. We are also celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. India is being seen as the first line of progressive countries by presiding over the G-20 under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr. Rizvi said that we have full hope that this conference will play an important role in the world along with creating friendship and love among themselves.
