From aspiration district, Siddharthnagar is turning into a developed district: CM Yogi

Lucknow:  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said Siddharthnagar was moving from being an aspirational district to being a developed district.

CM Yogi said the current developments in the district were proof that Siddharthnagar was on the route to become a developed district at the “Sansad Khel Mahakumbh” concluding ceremony, which was held at the district sports stadium.

According to Yogi, it was admirable how this neighborhood was showing its uniqueness on a worldwide scale. Schoolchildren shown bravery throughout the event.

A healthy mind lives in a healthy body, and a healthy mind can contribute to the growth of the country, the chief minister said. If the nation and the state are to advance in their entire development, sporting contests must be supported. He offered his congratulations to the athletes taking part in the Khel Mahakumbh’s numerous sporting events.

The chief minister emphasized that contests would also be held at the state and commissionerate levels while stating that the Sansad Khel Mahakumbh had been magnificently organized at the block and district levels by the district administration for the all-around development of girl students and talents.

“The whole crew should be commended for this. Chief Minister Yogi said, “Despite the bitter cold, the children’s excitement has drawn Member of Parliament Jagdambika Pal to the event as a young person.

The chief minister noted that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose to go on with the Khelo India sports initiative in 2014, the MP sports competition advanced significantly.

The state government’s goal, according to the chief minister, is to spread the vision of the prime minister to the rural areas, the underprivileged, farmers, and young people. “Today, communities are developing open gyms. Amrit Sarovars in the area are preparing for their morning meetings and walks. In each district, a sports stadium and a smaller stadium are being constructed at the block level, he said.

The chief minister said, “We witnessed wonderful results of boosting sports during the Tokyo Olympics. Indian athletes took home the most medals at the Tokyo Olympics at the time of COVID-19. In order to provide the state’s athletes the greatest facilities, the state administration has also put out a lot of effort. Each state athlete who participated in the Tokyo Olympics received Rs. 10 lakh from the state government, along with Rs. 6 crore, Rs. 4 crore, and Rs. 2 crore for gold, silver, and bronze medalists, respectively.

Those in attendance at the Sansad Khel Mahakumbh’s concluding program included Jagdambika Pal, former minister and MLA Jai Pratap Singh, MLA Shyamdhani Rahi, Vinay Verma, Ankur Raj Tiwari, MLCs Dr. Dharmendra Singh and Dhruv Kumar Tripathi, district president Govind Madhav, district panchayat chairperson Sheetal Singh, and former MLA Raghavendra Singh.
