The Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Lohia Hospital organized CME on “Knee Protection” with Live Surgery Sessions by AAUP (Association of Arthroscopy Society of Uttar Pradesh), ASGI (Arthroscopy Study Group of India) and LOS (Lucknow Orthopedic Society).
The CME discussed the possibilities and methods of saving the knee joint and postponing replacement surgery by preventing the development of advanced-stage arthritis, allowing the patient to live life with its natural joint. of better quality.
Vineet Sharma, Pro-VC and HOD Orthopedics, KGMU, Chief Guest, said that through this CME we want to emphasize that the problem of knee arthritis, which is now taking the form of an epidemic, has to be avoided can go. The objective of this CME is to highlight this aspect of the management of knee problems.
It was organized under the guidance of CME Director, Dr. RMLIMS, Prof. Sonia Nityananda, who is the patron of the event. Prof. Ashish Kumar (Chairman UPOA & AAUP) addressed the orthopedic surgeons in the live surgery session. A total of 150 delegates participated in this CME. Live surgery sessions were prescribed, which are very beneficial for the younger generation of orthopedic surgeons.
