Fire audits, Fire Safety drills, trained manpower spotting in the Fire Safety sector and greater awareness across public through domain experts is the only way, future fire tragedies can be averted.
Envisaging a more foolproof fire safety ecosystem, the Fire and Security Association of India now plans to make inroads into the Hindi heartland with a sharp focus on Lucknow in the initial phase. Having mapped India far and wide, FSAI now plans to build a team of Industry Experts who will fill the needgap for a better Fire Safety apparatus. A highly experienced Team of Industry Experts will show the way in mitigating fire hazards with the right kind of technology.
As a first step in that direction, headhunting for the right people is currently underway. In the coming weeks, a committee will also be setup that will spearhead the overall working.
Joint Secretary, FSAI Uttar Pradesh Chapter, Shri Prakash said, “ To amplify our reach the organization is talking to FM channels, newspapers, Industry stalwarts keeping in mind the safety and security of High Rise buildings. We will also impart quality training in the sector, ensure checks and balances, advise where required and make adequate recommendations wherever the need arises.”
The Fire Safety body is working in tandem with IIA Chapter. Consultations will continue as Fire Security Expert. A series of events are in the pipeline. The organization is also working closely with the Institute of Engineers India. Disaster Management makes another part of the working of FSAI.
