G20 painting competition to be modelled on the season of Basant

Lucknow: Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob organized an important meeting regarding the preparations for the Global Investor Summit. The meeting was held at Vrindavan Yojana, the venue of the Investor Summit. In the meeting, feedback was taken on the preparations being made by the concerned departments including Urban Development, Housing Development Council, Electricity Department, Public Works Department, Fire Fighting, Tourism, Lucknow City Administration, Lucknow Development Authority, and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials.

Instructing the concerned officers, the Divisional Commissioner said that whatever preparations are being done by the concerned department under the Global Investor Summit, all those works should be completed in time. He said that police duty, magistrate duty should be ensured at the venue from the 3rd. Instructing the officials of the Municipal Corporation, said that arrangements for mobile toilets and drinking water should be made timely at the parking lot.

During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner P.W.D. and NHAI giving strict instructions to the officials, said that the work of the roads should be expedited. Repair of railing, divider painting, signage, should be done on time, along with pollard, barrel should also be corrected. He told the concerned officer that what is the status of painting of electric poles, tightening of hanging wires and transformer shifting. It has been told by the concerned officer of LESA that all the works have been completed. In view of fire safety, he should make sure that the concerned officer completes the work by making a drill.
