Lucknow: On occasion of Daughter’s Day, a 3-day Terracotta Ganpati training workshop was organized by Anandima Hastkala Kendra at Lilavati Munshi Destitute Children’s Home, Motinagar (Aishbagh). In the concluding session of this event, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia inspected the Ganesh idol made by the girls and honored all the girls with certificates and prizes for making Ganesh idols.
The mayor also fed sweets to all the girls.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia started her address with Yatra Naryastu Pujyante, Ramante Tatra Devta.
The Mayor said that God resides where women are worshipped. India is known for respecting women and daughters. In homes, daughters are considered to be the form of Lakshmi. Daughters are put forward in every auspicious work in the house, whether it is planetary entry or any other auspicious work.
The Mayor further said that daughters make the house beautiful and are known to decorate the house. Today’s daughters are making their name bright in every field. The government is also trying its best to advance daughters from every level. There are many schemes of the state and central government which are dedicated to daughters and women.
In the end, the Mayor ended her talk by wishing all the girls in the children’s home.
On this occasion Vishal Gaur (Chief Priest, Kotwaleshwar Temple), Maya Mishra (Warden), Maya Mishra (President, Anandima Hastkala Kendra), Sonu Agarwal (Secretary, Anandima Handicraft Center) along with others were present on this occasion.
