Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Uttar Pradesh is a state of limitless possibilities. There are no such possibilities anywhere in the world. Here the world’s most fertile land and best water resources are present. State’s service sector, talented and energetic youth and the world’s largest MSME base take our prospects forward. Investment proposals worth more than Rs 33 lakh 52 thousand crore have been received in the state through the UP Global Investors Summit. This is just the beginning. This is just a glimpse of the potential of Uttar Pradesh. This journey has to go on for a long time. Uttar Pradesh will be one of the biggest economy of the country.
The Chief Minister was expressing his views in a program held in the state capital. He said that at the time of the country’s independence in the year 1947, the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh was better than the national average. Due to caste, creed, religion disputes and corruption, by the year 2016-17, it remained one-third of the country’s average. The per capita income of the state has doubled in the last 06 years. The GDP of the state has also doubled. In the next five years it will be higher than the national average.
The Chief Minister said that our government has started works to make Uttar Pradesh the growth engine of the country’s development. In the last 06 years, our progress has moved in a meaningful direction. The state government has started new age courses and trades under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Mission. Students are being linked with new courses.
Youth are being trained in new technical courses including drone technology, robotics. If our youth are willing to go to the global market, they are being groomed for that also. The state government has agreed to a program of collaboration with Tata Technologies for the development of good institutions in the field of vocational education in the state.
The Chief Minister said that the presence of investment and industry is important for the growth of the economy. The specialty of the Nivesh Mahakumbh UP Global Investors Summit organized in the state is that investment proposals worth Rs 10 lakh crore have been received for Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Proposals worth Rs 04 lakh 29 thousand crore have been received for the Bundelkhand region. Investment is going to be made in all 75 districts of the state including 26 districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and 07 districts of Bundelkhand region. Now the youth of the state will not have to go to other states of the country or abroad for job/employment, they will get job/employment in Uttar Pradesh only. The farmers and laborers of the state will be benefited by the setting up of industries in the state.
