Global Investor Summit bodes well for the state: AK Sharma
Lucknow: State’s Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma said that due to the efforts of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, the economy of the state has improved.
He said that with the resolve and vision to make a trillion dollar economy and help the people of the state prosper,
a very successful Global Investors Summit has been held as per the expectations. He said that for the good governance system of the government and the global image of the Prime Minister, Uttar Pradesh has been able to bring in investment worth Rs 32.92 lakh crore in the Global Investors Summit.
Investment has come in the state, in which all domestic and foreign investors, industrialists, businessmen have participated.
With unprecedented interest shown in the state regarding investment in various sectors, in the coming times
there will be unprecedented growth in the state’s economy, resources and employment and the state will become the growth engine of India’s development. From the investment received in the Global Investors Summit
all-round development will flow in the state.
A.K. Sharma addressed the Global Investors Summit. People from India and abroad came to the VIP lounge and discussed about energy, renewable energy and urban development.
He held B2B meetings with around 50 investors who showed interest and signed MoUs. By meeting separately with the delegation, their projects, intentions, problems, suggestions were discussed on how to take the MoU forward. The discussion revolved around a variety of sectors namely Energy, Urban Development, Bio Energy, Waste Management, Water Treatment, City Transport, Smart metering, waste material energy, green energy, biophysical and solid waste management. He met the investors to know their problems and the state government’s investment policies and solar energy policy and discussed the facilities given to the investors on Bio Energy Policy.

An investment of Rs. crore has come. Similarly, 1.50 lakh crore in the city development sector.
