Goel Institute of Technology and Management celebrates 4 star rating with pomp and fervour
Lucknow: On the occasion of “National Mathematics Day” Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell,& Department of Applied Science Goel Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow celebrated its achievement of getting 4 Star rating (Top Four among whole Northern India & among Top 59 all over India) from Institute Innovation Council, Ministry of Education ,Government of India , by organizing an Exposure visit of School students of “Central Academy Senior Secondary School, Barabanki “on 22nd December, 2022 under IIC-AICTE ATL School Linkage Program.
Total 55 topper students from class 12th and 11th visited the institute’s premises and nurture their innovative mindset towards creativity with high spirit. The students understood the importance of mathematical modeling in various Engineering disciplines ranging from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Information technology and Electronics by working Project Models of B.Tech students and solved their queries related to ongoing scientific work in various laboratories of the institute.
The school students visited the In-campus Center of Excellence- Royal Enfield, GITM Incubation Center and appreciated the “Exhibition” by student Club-IIC GITM on the Theme- Toycathon-Waste to Play. They witness different programs conducted by BTech First Year students & organized by Department of Applied Science on this celebration day.
The Chairman of the Goel Group of Institution, Er. Mahesh Agarwal sir gave his blessings to School students and BTech First year students and elaborated that such events help in popularizing the Mathematics in Science and Engineering and Motivate students towards development of Innovative ideas. The Director GITM, Dr. Rishi Asthana Sir emphasized to learn various science-based activities experimentally to school students. The celebration was ended by honoring the accompanied teachers of school by giving Token of Honor and vote of thanks by Convener IIC-GITM and HOD, Applied Science.
