Gonda DM calls for tough measures against land mafia

Gonda: Officials of all departments should keep details of government properties with them. Also, action should be taken against the land mafia by acting tough against encroachments. After removal of encroachment and garbage in Balpur notices will be issued to the responsible head. It has been assured that 100% electricity connections in government buildings will be provided after completing the formalities. At the same time, the Chief Veterinary Officer should preserve the animals rescued from the streets and markets in cow sheds. Government schemes should also be publicized. These clear guidelines were given by DM Neha Sharma in the Collectorate auditorium.

The DM said that the benefits of the schemes should be extended to the eligible people as per the intention of the government. If there is illegal occupation of any department’s land, immediate action should be taken against the land mafia. The DM reviewed programs like Shramyogi Maandhan Yojana, Labor Registration, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ayushman Bharat, availability of medicines, all pension schemes, Nutrition Mission, Marriage Grant, Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Skill Development Mission etc.
