Government should clear the air around the Hindenburg Report : Mayawati
Lucknow: National President of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati has strongly attacked the government after the Hindenburg Report on Adani Group came out. The BSP supremo said that this report had a bad impact on the stock market. People’s hard earned money is at stake and the government is silent.
Mayawati tweeted that for the last two days, more than Republic Day, the negative report of American firm Hindenburg in relation to Adani Group and its widespread bad effect on the stock market etc. is in a lot of discussions. The government is silent while the hard earned money of crores of people of the country is tied to it.
The BSP chief said that after the allegations of cheating etc. in shares, Adani’s wealth decreased by $ 22.6 billion and his world ranking decreased, more people are worried that what will happen to the huge investment made by the government in the group? What will happen to the economy? Restlessness and anxiety are natural but a solution needed.
Mayawati said that at the beginning of the budget session of the Parliament starting from January 31, the government itself should put a detailed statement on this issue in both the Houses of the House so that the economic world and the entire country especially in the urban middle class families, restlessness and despair regarding the Adani group etc. may be reduced a little.
