Governor Anandiben Patel reviews NAAC report of SGPGI
Lucknow: State Governor Anandiben Patel reviewed the self-study report prepared for NAAC by Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow as Visitor at Raj Bhavan. In the meeting, the Governor said that SGPGI is a well-known special medical institute of the state at the country and abroad level. Institutions should highlight all their institutional characteristics in a holistic manner in the report. He said that the institute has achieved other achievements in the medical world and at the academic level. Those achievements should be listed and linked to the criteria wise point wise presentation of NAAC.
During the analysis, the Governor asked to put a photo showing the variety of activities in each of the criteria and put a detailed description of it in the caption. In Criteria-1, she appreciated the work done by the institute in the interest of transgenders. She introduced these programs with the specialty S.S.R. I was asked to show them and also to show their photographs in the presentation. Looking at the presentation of Criteria-2, the Governor asked to maintain uniformity in the presentation format, to put photographs in a clear and visible shape. She asked the students to make them aware about the grading of NAAC and motivate them for participation. The Governor said that S.G.P.G.I.M.S. It is a special institution, so asked to associate its specialties with photographs on a large scale. The Governor targeted the lack of presentation with photographs on the point of infrastructure.
It is mentioned here that S.G.P.G.I.M.S. For the first time preparing its self study report for national level grading NAAC. The institute has already secured notable positions in evaluations at international and national level. More recently Q.S. Ranked in the category of 551 to 600 in the World University Rankings, while NIRF I have got the seventh place in the top ten in priority. In today’s review meeting, each and every feature of the institute was presented under the standards of NAAC and analyzed to get the highest grade.
In the meeting, the director of the institute, Dr. R.K. Dhiman also screened a film on the innovative facilities of SGPGIMS, in which he informed that now the institute has Pediatric Center of Excellence, Special Center for Diabetic Patients, Kidney Transplant Center including 04 And new departments are going to start soon. The Governor asked to put this film in the presentation with a brief description of 2 to 3 minutes. With the compliance of the instructions given in the meeting, he made strong S.S.R. Asked to prepare and prepare to stake claim for highest grading in NAAC as well.
