Governor honours Karmaveer workers of LIC
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel participated in the ‘Inspirational Competition and Felicitation Ceremony’ organized by the Life Insurance Corporation of India to motivate its Karmaveer agents at Raj Bhavan.
On this occasion, after honoring the hardworking workers of Life Insurance Corporation of India, the Governor said in his address that today Life Insurance Corporation of India is not only providing insurance protection to the people in every nook and corner of the country with the help of its hard working and dedicated warriors.
Rather, with better options of investment and protection and ensuring excellent returns through ULIP plans. This return comes in handy for the insured at a time when they need it.
Appreciating the efforts being made by LIC for customer service, the Governor said that promoting Prime Minister’s ‘Self-reliant India’ and ‘Digital India’, LIC has started digital application in the life insurance sector to make its agents and customers self-reliant. Very important work is being done in the field of paperless office and customer service through ‘Ananda’.
The Governor said that insurance schemes are the basis of social security and hard working agents of Life Corporation of India are making tireless efforts to take the message of life insurance to the rural level along with the cities.
Senior Divisional Manager of Lucknow Division, MC Joshi, Development Officers of 5 districts of Lucknow Division, Chief Life Insurance Advisor and LIC agents were present in the programme.
