Gravitas 2.0 a resounding success
Lucknow: The Grand Finale of Gravitas 2.0, an annual management fest organized by the Department of Business Administration at Lucknow University, was held on 13 April. This year, the festival had a total of 18 events and saw the participation of 380 participants from 25 colleges including institutions such as Amity University, BBAU and Kanpur University. On the second day of the festival various programs like Business Quiz, Panel Discussion etc. were organized.
A session with Dr Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli marked the end of Gravitas 2.0. In this, Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Head of the Department Dr. Sangeeta Sahu and other dignitaries and professors were present. Program coordinator Dr. Nimisha Kapoor was also present during the session.
Dr. Pawan is a renowned educationist and writer. With his extensive academic background of over three decades, he has significantly advanced the field of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.
During his talk, Singh delved into various topics like leadership, innovations, values and skills that caught the attention of the audience. He talked about how “interest is more important than intelligence” in life.
His insightful message encouraged the students to think big and ignited a wave of inspiration among them. He highlighted the “need for balance in values and skills” for management students to have a successful career.
The prize distribution ceremony concluded after the events of the day, where the winners of various competitions were felicitated for their achievements. Amidst much fanfare and celebration, the winners of various Gravitas 2.0 competitions were announced.
The winners received certificates, medals and gift vouchers and the applause from the audience added to their sense of achievement.
In conclusion, Gravitas 2.0 was a resounding success, with participants showcasing their skills and talents in various competitions and activities. The event is a testament to the creativity and enthusiasm of the students of the Department of Business Administration. It was a perfect blend of learning, fun and entertainment, and everyone who attended will surely look forward to next year’s edition.
