Greater Noida plans to prepare well in time for G 20 Conclave
Noida: Greater Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari held a meeting with all work circles, horticulture and electrical engineering departments to give a new look to Greater Noida before the proposed G-20 summit in coming September.
In Greater Noida, a road map was prepared for each and every road, roundabout wise where and what works are to be done. CEO Ritu Maheshwari had asked for details of work circle-wise works keeping in mind the G-20 summit. She reviewed the reports submitted by all these work circle in-charges. CEO Ritu Maheshwari along with ACEOs Medha Rupam and Anand Vardhan finalized the works to be done road wise and roundabout wise.
The CEO directed to make available the designs of the five entrance gates of Greater Noida within a week.
Greenery, lighting and figures will be installed at all roundabouts including Pari Chowk, Surajpur, Char Murti, Tilpata. Cooperation of Corporate Social Responsibility will also be taken in this work. Instructed to submit a plan to free Pari Chowk from traffic jam soon.
Beautiful structures and benches will be installed in the Alpha Commercial Belt. Along with this, other market areas will also be illuminated. Lighting will also be done here. Instructed to complete the work of Sirsa Entry Point soon. The CEO gave instructions to install direction indicators of new look and design. Instructions were given to re-surfacing the roads, to make zebra crossings, lane marking and repair the works of curve stone, track dressing and wire fencing etc. at the earliest.
Instructed to remove all illegal hoardings by running a campaign and get the bus shelters repaired soon. Every division has been given a target to give concrete form by preparing some new designs at two places for the G-20 Summit on all the major routes falling in their area.
The CEO also saw the works being done by Horticulture and Electrical Engineering and gave necessary instructions to get them done. Artifacts based on different themes will be engraved on Metro pillars in Greater Noida. The CEO also saw the presentation of the same. The CEO has instructed all work circle in-charges, horticulture and electrical engineering department to repair the internal and external roads of residential sectors. In the meeting, the CEO instructed to complete the tender process for all the works by the end of March and start the work on the spot.
