Greater Noida to comeup with robot manufacturing facility, 11,000 to get employment

Noida: Four big companies have bought land for investment in Greater Noida. This includes a company that makes robots. Out of these four, DMIC will set up its unit in IITGNL’s Integrated Industrial Township and the remaining three in Greater Noida. An investment of about Rs 1600 crore will come from these companies and employment opportunities will be generated for about 11,250 youth.

With this, the authority will get about Rs 160 crore as the cost of the land in 90 days. The four companies that have bought land for investment in Greater Noida and DMIC IITGNL are Allentech India, Adverb Technology, Guru Amardas International and Teron Micro Systems.

On Monday, in the board room of Greater Noida Authority, CEO Narendra Bhushan and ACEO Deepchandra and Amandeep Duli handed over the allotment letter to the representatives of the four companies in the presence of the authority’s OSD Sachin Kumar Singh and DGM Industries CK Tripathi and other officials.

Korean mobile parts maker Elantech India has bought two plots of 20,235 square meters at Ecotech One Extension One in Greater Noida. The cost of this land is around Rs 72 crore, in which the company will invest about Rs 1000 crore. In this 8000 youth will get employment opportunities.

The company will set up the plant in a phased manner and complete it in four years. At the same time, Adverb Technology, the world’s leading robot manufacturing company, has bought about 13 acres of land in Ecotech 10. The cost of the land is around Rs 38 crore.

This company will start the unit by investing Rs 500 crore in the next four years. This will provide employment opportunities to about 2000 youth. Similarly, electronics products maker Teron Micro Systems has bought two acres of land in Ecotech One Extension One for Rs 16 crore. The company will invest Rs 23 crore in this, 150 youth will get employment opportunities.

At the same time, Guru Amardas International Company, which has bought a plot of 4.65 acres in the Integrated Industrial Township, will provide employment opportunities to about 1100 youth. This company has bought land for around Rs 32 crore and will invest around Rs 40 crore. This company will make products like power cord, wire harness, transformer etc.

The target is to start production at the unit in about two years. On this occasion, Director, Guru Amardas International, Raunak Anand, while appreciating the process of land allotment of Greater Noida Authority and DMIC IITGNL, said that such a transparent and fast process of land allotment is rarely seen.

During this, company secretary of DMIC IITGNL Patanjali Narayan Dixit and manager of Greater Noida, Seema Mittal, etc. were present. Narendra Bhushan, CEO, Greater Noida Authority said that efforts will continue to promote industrial investment in Greater Noida and IITGNL. The land is being made available to the entrepreneurs within a month of the application. This will give employment opportunities to the youth. Along with this, fast efforts are also being made to set up eight new industrial sectors.
