Hanuman Kripa Trust call for more planting of Ramayana, Mahabharata era plants

Lucknow: Due to the deteriorating balance of the environment, the environment is getting polluted continuously. Both the government and the society should stop indiscriminate felling of trees. Also, voluntary organizations and organizations working in public interest with the vision of a better society should plant more and more such trees of Mahabharata and Ramayana era, which play an important role in keeping the environment healthy by generating more oxygen.

This was stated in the first annual meeting of Hanumant Kripa Trust on Hanuman Jayanti, environmentalist and former secretary of Hanuman Setu Temple, Dr. S. N. Kapoor said. Kapoor said that Hanumant Kripa Trust, which has been publishing Hanumant Kripa Patrika, Diary, Calendar and Ram Naam writing checkbook for the last six years, is reaching the devotees across the country.

Now the trust should also play a leading role in the direction of environmental protection. Sharad Kapoor, a senior member of the trust, suggested that the trees of Mahabharata and Ramayana should be planted on a large scale by the trust, in this the cooperation of the government and other government organizations can also be taken.

Trust President Naresh Dixit said that along with environmental protection, the work of poor girl marriage and blanket distribution to the poor in winter is also included in the work plan of the trust. Annual meeting of Hanumant Kripa Trust was organized at Kapoor’s house in Nirala Nagar (Lucknow).  President of the trust Naresh Dixit garlanded the Lord by lighting a lamp in front of Lord Hanuman  and Gurudev Maharaj. Bhog was offered after the collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation.

All the office bearers and executive members garlanded Dr. Kapoor, the patron of the trust, presented a frame picture of Lord  Ram, Lord Hanuman  and Neemkaroli Baba  and took blessings by touching the feet.

In the meeting, senior member Sharad Kapoor suggested making effective efforts for environmental protection through the trust and planting trees of Mahabharata and Ramayana throughout the country, which was supported by all the members.  Vijaya Kapoor, wife of Dr. Kapoor  congratulated and blessed all the members on the occasion of Diwali by gifting them a jade plant which purify the environment.

In the meeting, Trust’s Secretary Pt. Anurag Mishra, Treasurer Nilesh Mishra, Media Coordinator Acharya R. L Pandey, executive member S. D. Dixit, Siyaram Pandey ‘Shant’, Jitendra Kumar, Neelam Dixit, Jia, Jyotsna Kapoor, Juhi Kapoor, Neeraj Kapoor, Ramesh Sharma, K. N. Pandey, Ashish Dixit etc. devotees were present.

In the end, the organizer of the meeting, Sharad Kapoor thanked all the members and congratulated them on Diwali.
