Health infra in U.P. to get a shot in the arm with 54 thousnd crore investment

Lucknow: On the second day of Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit 2023, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Brajesh Pathak said that we all have come among you to discuss about investment in UP’s health. On the investment in the health sector, he said that a large number of investment proposals have been given by you. Proposals for investment of about Rs 54 thousand crore have come in the medical department. We have come to the Health and Family Welfare Department and we have received proposals worth about seventeen thousand crores for medical education.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that I assure that our government will continuously work to protect your interests and our entire team will be in touch with you. But I want to discuss some things about the health sector of Uttar Pradesh with you, being the largest state in terms of population in the country, we have a large number of areas that need to be expanded in the health sector.

We are twenty five crore people. There are seventy-five districts and it is our responsibility to provide medical facilities from village to village in all these places.

He said that I assure you all to invest without worry, in every situation, you will be provided with a proper environment. Apart from this, we all know that now the central government has brought our 50-bed hospitals under the Act to register you online.

Apart from this, due to the large number of hospitals, we have also decided to give it on PPP mode, which we have put a proposal before you on January 23, you all know that we want to give some hospitals on this mode. If this happens on the basis of trial, then we will implement it in the entire state. He said that we will definitely help you whatever the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh can help you according to the medical arrangements. He said that our team will be in constant contact with you, you invest, your investment will be safe, we are fully ready to help.
