Holy land of Prayagraj a symbol of faith among Indians : CM Yogi
Prayagraj: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone of 284 development projects worth Rs 1295 crore at the Parade Ground of Tirtharaj Prayagraj, the confluence of faith, education and progress and addressed the conference. On this occasion, Chief Minister gave cheques, keys of houses to the beneficiaries of the schemes.
Yogi Adityanath while addressing the people present in the Prabuddhajan Sammelan said that Tirtharaj Prayag is a symbol of the faith among Indians. Dwadash Madhav Tirtharaj enhances the glory of Prayag and gives it an important place in pilgrimages.
He said that when it comes to Kumbh, everyone’s attention automatically goes towards Prayagraj. He said that it is our good fortune that Prayagraj got its ancient name back just before Kumbh in October 2018 under the leadership and guidance of the Prime Minister.
The world’s first Gurukul Maharishi Bhardwaj Muni’s ashram is here and his grand statue which has been installed here by the government also makes us feel proud. The Chief Minister said that while addressing the main festival in the Amrit Mahotsav year of independence, Prime Minister had talked about Panchpran. He had taken a pledge of five vows of developed India, respect of heritage, freedom from every thought of slavery, unity and integration and duty of citizens. Be it the construction of a grand temple in Ayodhya or the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Kashi, the work of Maa Vindhyavasini Corridor or the historic Kumbh of Prayagraj, all these are part of the same tradition.
The orderliness, security and cleanliness for which Prayagraj Kumbh-2019 was known, on similar lines Mahakumbh-2025 will be organized with a divine and grand event.
Chief Minister said that today works worth 1295 crores have been inaugurated here, this will further accelerate the development of Prayagraj. Many works have been done in Prayagraj under the Smart City Mission and many works are being done continuously. In the rural areas, under the Har Ghar Jal Yojana, the scheme of providing tap water is being completed, due to which people living in rural areas are getting clean drinking water through taps at their homes. Clean drinking water is also being made available in urban areas under the AMRUT scheme.
Chief Minister said, ” The government is working with full readiness for the convenience of the general public and the government will welcome the suggestions given by the intellectuals for the development of Prayagraj. The government is working sincerely for the self-reliance and self-employment of the youth.” He said that the policy of zero tolerance is being adopted with the mafias who create obstacles in the field of development. Today, by freeing the lands illegally occupied by mafias and corrupt people, houses will be constructed there for the poor, advocates, teachers and doctors. He said that today lakhs of youth are being prepared for competitive examinations through Abhyudaya Yojana. Hon’ble Chief Minister said that today the examinations are being conducted with full transparency, strictest action will be taken while dealing strictly with whoever obstructs it.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said in his address – Kumbh of enlightened people is happening today on the holy land of Prayagraj. Under the leadership of Prime Minister and Chief Minister, the country and the state are moving fast on the path of development. Houses have been made available to the eligible persons and the priority of the government is that no poor person remains without a roof of his own. Chief Minister has worked with the policy of zero tolerance against corruption, due to which the benefits of government schemes are reaching the general public directly. Under the leadership of Chief Minister, not only the state but also Prayagraj has witnessed all-round development. Today Prayagraj is writing a new chapter of development. Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister said that the upcoming Maha Kumbh-2025 will be organized in a grand and divine manner than Kumbh-2019. He said that today the poor need not worry about housing, toilet, gas connection, electricity connection, water and treatment of diseases. The central and state governments are providing these facilities to every poor and eligible person. Along with the development of Prayagraj, other religious places of the state are also being developed.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said in his address that Prayagraj is a historically holy land. I bow my head and bow down to this earth. He said that the government of the country and the state is working with honesty for the general public and the poor. India’s respect in the world has increased under the leadership of Prime Minister. Today, due to the double engine government, there has been success in taking the schemes to the poor.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister, the state has been leading in implementing all the schemes of the central government on the ground and providing its benefits to the last person of the state. The back of the mafia has been broken with mass demolitions. Law and order of Uttar Pradesh is discussed in the whole country. He said that electricity is being made available in sufficient quantity in cities and rural areas. The state is moving forward in the field of education. Global Investors Summit is being organized by the state government to promote industries in the state.
Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi in his address while welcoming the Chief Minister on the land of Prayagraj said that the Chief Minister is continuously working for the development of the state. To ensure that the light of development reaches the last village of the state, and that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person, this is one of the topmost priorities of the Chief Minister. He said that the government has worked with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas, rising above caste, religion and region, which is visible on the ground. Under the successful leadership of Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh has become Uttam Pradesh from 2017 to 2022, now it is moving towards becoming the best state said Nandi.
MP Allahabad Prof. Rita Bahuguna Joshi said in her address that Chief Minister has increased the respect of people by participating in the Prabuddhajan Sammelan. She said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, the prestige of India has increased in the whole world. Appreciating the new education policy, he has described it as useful for the future. She said that India will show the way to the whole world in times to come. MP Phulpur Keshari Devi Patel said in her address that many enlightened people have moved forward from the land of Prayagraj, who are doing excellent work in every field. MP Bhadohi Ramesh Chandra Bind said in his address that the country and the state are touching new heights under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi.
