Homeopathy should reach the last mile says Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu

Lucknow: The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, Uttar Pradesh,  Dayashankar Mishra, ‘Dayalu’ asked the homeopathic doctors to make constant efforts to provide better facilities to the public. He said that Homeopathy is a safe and affordable system of medicine. By promoting it, make more and more patients aware about the treatment. Giving strict instructions to the officials, he said that the patients should not face any kind of inconvenience. Make sure to make available medicines in proper quantity regularly in all homeopathy hospitals.

These things were said by Mishra during a departmental review meeting with the Chief Medical Superintendent (Homeopathy Department) of Kanpur, Azamgarh, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Devipatan, Basti and Vidhyachal Mandal in the auditorium of Government Homeopathy Medical College, Gomti Nagar.

While directing the officers, he said that within 6 months, maximum efforts should be made to build their own hospitals on their own land. He said that in this regard, efforts should be made to make available land for the construction of the hospital by contacting the village head, BDO, district administration and local public representatives. Do the work of building a hospital on the donated land in the name of the relatives of the donors.

Dayalu informed that the target is to set up 1600 health wellness centres, out of which the department has built about 500 wellness centres. He said that during the time of Corona, people’s faith has increased in this mode. If you people make more efforts then more and more people will be able to connect with this mode. During the meeting, he took information from all the district level doctors about the number of patients being seen in the OPD running in their place and instructed that the center where the number of patients is less, after talking to the doctor and the assistant there, the reason should be known. Receive and try to increase the number of patients. He said that after talking to the public representatives, free camps should be organized from their level. Give wide publicity to the free camp. With this, more and more people will be able to take advantage of this mode.

Dayashankar Mishra directed all the medical superintendents to check the attendance of doctors and staff in all hospitals at regular intervals from their level and take disciplinary action against whoever is found absent. He said that the process of surprise check of attendance through video calling is also going on from the headquarters.
Director Homeopath Dr. Arvind Kumar Verma, Joint Director Dr. Suchen Agarwal and senior departmental officers were present in the meeting.
