House Tax Payment Now Online

Lucknow: Moving towards Digital India, online house tax assessment has been started by Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, providing another facility regarding house tax to the residents of the city. City dwellers will now be able to do the assessment of their newly constructed house sitting at home and also deposit house tax along with mutation by filling the online form without having to visit the municipal offices without visiting the office for assessment of the buildings left out from the purview of house tax.

The inauguration program of this digital facility happened at Babu Rajkumar Hall located at Municipal Corporation Headquarters under the chairmanship of Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia. Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Singh and Additional Municipal Commissioner Rakesh Yadav, N.I.C. Councilors including Additional Information Officer Ashish Aggarwal were present.

A demo of the software was also given in the event by Ashish Agarwal Software Developer Pawan Kumar. The payment of tax by a tax payer in front of the mayor was also done successfully in just 10 minutes.
