Lucknow: Allaying fears that the state was heading for another lockdown with a significant rise in Corona cases, U.P. CM Yogi has sent out a very terse message saying that nobody should live under the illusion that another lockdown will be put into force. He said we cannot the run risk of imposing another lockdown and letting people die. He also pointed out that there should not be complaints of a bed shortage.
According to the information, 15,353 new cases have come up in Uttar Pradesh in one day alone. In such a situation, the state government is very upset.
Yogi has said that all arrangements should be made beforehand. Takeover private hospitals and medical colleges as needed. He laid emphasis on testing, tracing and treatment in the districts.
Yogi clearly said that we have to save lives as well as livelihoods. During this time, Yogi has warned officers. CM Yogi has held a high-level meeting with the officers and is closely keeping an eye on the entire situation.
He has said he is optimistic that much like last year, this year too he will succeed in nipping Corona in the bud. For this, he has given instructions to increase the beds of L2 and L3 in sufficient quantity. For this, he has also given instructions to takeover private hospital and medical college. He expressed displeasure over the recovery in private hospitals and labs beyond the prescribed rates and directed action.
