iCreate in association with institutes in Agra and Mathura hosts its EV Innovation Challenge roadshow

Agra:: iCreate (International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology), India’s leading tech innovation-based start-up incubator, in association with Hindustan Institute of Technology and Management, Agra and GLA University, Mathura hosted a roadshow with the aim of engaging with the startup/innovator/entrepreneurial ecosystem in the cities to attract participation for its flagship EV

Innovation Challenge – EVangelise’22.

The event at both the institutes saw participation from 380 entrepreneurial minds and 15 startups. More than 7 innovators also got the opportunity to pitch their solutions on the spot to a distinguished panel which included Mr Ashish Kanaujiya, Technology Innovation Consultant at iCreate and Mr Shantanu Chaturvedi, Head – EV CoE at iCreate. iCreate, introduced the students to the iCreate EV
Centre of Excellence and its initiatives that support breakthrough innovations in the EV ecosystem.

Earlier in June 2022, iCreate announced EVangelise ’22, in partnership with Startup India and the CII – CoE for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Start-ups (CII-CIES) with the aim to solve real world challenges in the EV industry. The challenge brings together some of the most prominent industry players, offering their mentorship support and strategic partnerships to the applying innovators.
In an effort to connect with and identify promising innovations nationwide through EVangelise, iCreate has partnered with leading institutes to host the roadshows in their respective campuses, including Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Noida, to name a few.
Mr Arghya Sardar, Head, Technology Foresight for Automotive Research (TFAR), Technology Information, Forecasting & Assessment Council (TIFAC), Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI was present at the event as Guest of Honour. The event also graced the presence of Mr Anand Menon K, Vice President, Agra Smart City; Mr Anuj Kumar, Joint Commissioner (Industries), Agra, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Dr Manoj, Associate Director, GLA University; Mr Ravi Kumar Tiwari, Senior Manager
Incubation, GLA University. Mr Ashish Kanaujiya, Technology Innovation Consultant at iCreate and Mr
Shantanu Chaturvedi, Head – EV CoE at iCreate also shared their thoughts on the need for promoting entrepreneurial skills and their importance to the promising EV ecosystem in India. Launched with the concept of accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the country, EVangelise is an annual event hosted by iCreate to identify the next generation of breakthrough innovators in the
electric vehicle sub-components segment. The applications to EVangelise ’22 close on September 25, 2022. Applications are open to individual innovators, start-ups, students, researchers, and EV enthusiasts who are driven by a passion for tech innovation and the ambition to transform the EV industry.
