Lucknow: At Charbagh railway station, during the Corona epidemic, free food distribution and service camp, which has been running continuously for the last 40 days, concluded in the presence of the Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia. The camp concluded by distributing food to the needy.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said that even in these difficult circumstances, Seva Bharti is serving the society selflessly, considering the entire society as its family. If you want to see work with selfless family spirit without publicity, then look at the work being done by Sangh and Seva Bharti. During the Corona epidemic, Charbagh, KGMU, Lohia and Lokbandhu and other hospitals are being distributed food and ration packets and medicines are given to more than 4 thousand poor and needy people every day through Seva Bharti.
The Mayor further said that Seva Bharti has left its indelible mark of service work in the society since its inception and has done service work by becoming an angel at the time of every calamity that came upon the country.
Even today, where government assistance is not accessible in many areas of the Northeast, the workers of Seva Bharti are reaching out to the needy and doing service work with a family spirit.
Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia further said that Sewa Bharti established isolation wards at various places of the country including Lucknow where the infection rate was very high and provided free service and assistance to the corona infected. This in itself is a unique example of how an NGO is doing service work in the whole country with the help of the society.
She said that even during the first wave of Corona pandemic and the lockdown last year, Sewa Bharti has been doing food distribution and other service work for many days for free migrant laborers and needy people at Charbagh railway station.
The workers of Seva Bharti are ready to do service work day and night for the nation with body, mind and money in any crisis time and they consider this work as the purpose of their life, I bow to such dedicated workers.
The mayor ended the camp by distributing kheer. On this occasion, Kheer was also distributed among the poor and needy by Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia.
On this occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia along with Minister Dinesh, Lucknow Department President Rajesh Agarwal, Co-Secretary, Lucknow West Manish, Senior Campaigner Virendra, Manish Shukla, Mukesh Merchant, Sudhir Gupta, Dr. Mahima, Ramita Pandey, Manjari Ghanshyam ji and others were present.
