IIT Kanpur inaugurates 57th edition of Antaragni
Kanpur: Amidst a euphoric ambiance, the 57th edition of the much-anticipated cultural festival of IIT Kanpur, Antaragni, kicked off in its full-fledged offline mode today.
The festival began with the opening ceremony by 4 pm on 16th March at the Outreach Auditorium of IIT Kanpur. The occasion was graced by Prof. Shalabh, Dean, Academic Affairs; Prof. Arnab Bhattacharya, ADSA (Associate Dean, Students Affairs); Prof. Pratik Sen, ADHA (Associate Dean, Hostel Affairs) ADHA and Festival Advisory Committee (FAC) member Prof. Vimal Kumar. The ceremony marked the commencement of Antaragni by the lighting of the lamp. There was a classical dance performance of Ganesh Vandana to start the event. The faculty members gave inspirational talks to the participants of the opening ceremony and wished them luck for the four-day event. The inaugural ceremony concluded with everyone singing the National Anthem.
