Illegal arms manufacturing factory busted in the nick of time by Pratapgarh cops

Pratapgarh: Cops in Pratapgarh busted an Illegal arms manufacturing factory, large quantities of manufactured/semi-manufactured weapons, weapon making equipment, cartridges etc. has been recovered and 04 accused arrested-(Station Lalganj)

The action was taken under the able guidance of Superintendent of Police Pratapgarh  Satpal Antil, in order to strengthen law and order and to effectively curb crime/criminals, in order to keep a check on crime/criminals, Additional Superintendent of Police (West)  Rohit Mishra, under supervision and Circle Officer Lalganj  Ramsurat Sonkar on  the information of the informer during the care area/checking by the Lalganj police under the able leadership of police station area Lalganj cracked down while  nabbing those manufacturing illegal weapons in the block on the side of the canal track going from Jainpur bridge canal culvert to Kalakankar road.

Four persons were arrested while illegally manufacturing and repairing illegal firearms. In this regard, a case was registered at the local police station under relevant sections.

Details of the arrested accused-
1 – Salman aka Mohd. Ikram son of late. Mohd Ibrahim resident Takia Khanapatti police station Lalaganj district Pratapgarh
2- Sarwar Ali son Khalik Ali resident Dharupur Jalesarganj police station, Lalganj district Pratapgarh.
3- Ansar son Shabbir resident of police station Lalganj district Pratapgarh all his life.
4- Anurag Maurya alias Shashank Kumar, son of Fulchandra Maurya, resident of Dhanu, Pariwan police station, Nawabganj district Pratapgarh.

01. 04 nos. Gun 315 bore,
02. 02 nos. gun 12 bore,
03 semi-finished 04 nos gun 315 bore,
04. 05 nos. live cartridges 315 bore,
05. 03 nos. live cartridges 12 vor,
06. 01 nos miss cartridge 2 bore,
07. 01 nos. cartridge cartridge 315 bore,
08. Rs.10250/- cash (for sale of illegal arms)
09. Various tools for making illegal weapons,

Inquiry details-

During the interrogation of the arrested accused, it was told that they manufacture these weapons for economic and material benefits and sell them in the district and adjoining districts, after spending the money recovered  in the money received from the guns sold. There is money left.
