Improving crop yield and bettering farmer income top priority areas – Swatantra Dev Singh

Lucknow: Jal Shakti Minister  Swatantra Dev Singh said that fair posting under a transparent system is the priority of the state government. Congratulating all the posted engineers, the Jal Shakti Minister said that all of you working with hard work, full devotion and dedication should provide timely irrigation facilities to the farmers so that the income of the farmers can be increased.

The Jal Shakti Minister of Uttar Pradesh said these things here today on the occasion of posting program of newly selected Assistant Engineers from Public Service Commission in the auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Parikalp Bhawan, Lucknow, Irrigation and Water Resources Department. On this occasion, he said that all the engineers should discharge their duties with full devotion and make the farmers happy, if the farmers are happy then the country and the state will progress.

In the posting program, 37 newly appointed Assistant Engineers (Mechanical) and 41 departmentally newly promoted Junior Engineers (Mechanical) selected by the Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh, were posted on the basis of selection of their optional option under a transparent system. Happiness was expressed by the Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) on posting through selection based process of optional option.

Minister of State for Jal Shakti Shri Ramkesh Nishad said that the selection and posting process has been done in a transparent manner under the able guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister and Jal Shakti Minister. Congratulating the selected engineers, he said that they should fulfill their responsibilities with full devotion so that the name of the department can be brought to glory.

Principal Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Mr. Anil Kumar Garg asked all the selected engineers to work to provide benefits to the farmers through the schemes run by the department. Do put your experiences and activities of new technology and good works on social media so that more and more farmers can get the benefit of the schemes of the Irrigation Department. He congratulated all the selected engineers.

On this occasion, Chief Engineer and Head of Department  NC Upadhyay, Chief Engineer (Mechanical), Devendra Agarwal, Chief Engineer (Project), Anil Kumar Singh, Chief Engineer (Design and Planning), Alok Kumar Jain along with other departmental officers were present.
