In signs of smarter times, Bareilly residents to enjoy AC bus at low fare in summer
Bareilly: On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the operation of eco-friendly electric buses has been started in the direction of making the city more smart. Forest and Environment Minister Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena along with Cantt MLA Sanjeev Aggarwal, Commissioner Saumya Aggarwal, DM Shivakant Dwivedi, Municipal Commissioner Nidhi Gupta Vats flagged off 10 electric buses in the city.
The Buses will pass through many intersections of the city from Swalenagar to Karmachari Nagar Bypass, Delapir Crossroads, Stadium Road Premnagar Dharma Kanta Crossroads. People will reach their destination at satellite and collectorate intersection by buses.
Regarding this, Bareilly Smart City Transport Limited CEO Deepak Chaudhary and Assistant Manager Rajesh Pathak have finalized two bus routes. 10 buses have started operating from Monday. From Tuesday, 14 more buses have started on these routes.
Traveling by AC buses will be pleasant in summer, bus will be available every 10 minutes
Due to the construction work of roads in the city, Qutub, Fort, Atal flyover, the city bus service was closed for many days. Because of this, 14 buses were being run on the Faridpur Dehat route. Ten buses were standing for the last three months. Broken roads in the city, road flyovers under construction were not operational. Municipal Commissioner Nidhi Gupta Vats told that the operation of 10 buses has been started on Monday. 14 buses have been started from Swalenagar to intersections inside the city. People will enjoy AC buses in summer. A bus will be operated every 10 minutes. This will make it easier for the people to come and go in the city.
The load of private vehicles will reduce, travel will not be jammed by electric buses
