Lucknow: Celebrating the glorious history of Independent India, the UPMRC marks Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by an exhibition, at Munshipulia metro station on 75th Independence Day.
Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation is showcasing great personalities who contributed to the country’s independence with a display inside a metro train at Munshipulia metro station to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence Day.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, UPMRC at Munshipulia Metro Station.
In this exhibition, the depiction of great personalities who raised independence and the pride of the country in various fields was seen through ‘Freedom Metro’. This exhibition for the public will be open on 16th August from 06 am to 10 pm. On Sunday 15 August 2021, Metro Rail will not be operated under the Corona Guide Line, on August 16, along with the operation of Metro again, the exhibition will also be opened for the general public.
A Music Band by Lucknow Adarsh Kargar’s ‘Sajja Afta’ will be presented on 16th August at Hazratganj Metro Station.
Selfie with ‘Freedom Metro’ has been installed for passengers at Munshipulia metro station.
The Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated by the government on the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence till the next Independence Day. In this episode, UP Metro will also organize many events related to independence every month throughout the year.
