Indian National Congress all set for the U.P. leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee spokesman Sachin Rawat while sharing information said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra being run by Rahul Gandhi is entering Uttar Pradesh in the first week of January (2023). For the promotion and support of Bharat Jodo Yatra, the provincial presidents of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee will conduct the regional Bharat Jodo Yatra in the districts of their respective charge areas on the dates as per the following details, as per the instructions of the top leadership.
Giving further information, spokesperson Sachin Rawat said that on the instructions of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President and former MP Brijlal Khabri, this regional Bharat Jodo Yatra is under the charge of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee’s Provincial President-MLA, Virendra Chaudhary’s district Kushinagar. Regional Bharat Jodo Yatra starting from 9th December 2022, District Deoria on 10th December, District Ballia on 11th December, District Mau on 12th December, District Azamgarh on 13th December, District Ambedkar Nagar on 14th December District Ayodhya on 15th December, District Basti on 16th December, District Siddharthnagar on 17th December, District Maharajganj on 18th December passing through Gorakhpur district on 19th December and ending in District Santakbir Nagar on 20th December 2022.
The spokesman further said that in this sequence, the regional Bharat Jodo Yatra starting from Shahjahanpur district, under the charge of Provincial President Yogesh Dixit, on December 9, 2022, district Pilibhit, on December 10, Bareilly on December 11. District Badaun, District Kasganj on 12th December, District Farrukhabad on 13th December, District Etah on 14th December, District Mainpuri on 15th December, District Firozabad on 16th December, District Agra on 17th December, District on 18th December Bharat Jodo Yatra will end on December 20, 2022 in Mathura district via District Hathras, District Aligarh on December 19.
The basic objective of the Regional Bharat Jodo Yatra is the rising inflation in Uttar Pradesh, the problem of unemployment and fee hike of the youth struggling with unemployment, increasing crime in the state, the deteriorating health system, the problem of fertilizers to the farmers of the state, non-payment to the farmers by the sugar mills. The problem of travel, dengue, chikungunya has destroyed the state’s health system, patients are not even able to get proper treatment in government hospitals. Even beds are not available to patients in private hospitals said the party spokesperson.
The Congress alleged that Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of the BJP government on AAP are busy only in elections instead of solving these problems, therefore Bharat Jodo Yatra will be taken out in Uttar Pradesh as well.
