Azamgarh: – Deputy Director Agriculture, Mukesh Kumar has informed that under the Promotion of Agriculture Mechanization for In-Situ Management of Crop Residue Scheme, in the financial year 2022-23 in the district, for cent percent fulfillment of the targets achieved in various agricultural machines. According to the instructions, the option of selecting the agricultural machines as per their requirement will be made available on the online portal (upagriculture.com) relative to the set target.
He said that the willing farmer brothers of the district would be able to select the available agricultural machines/agriculture equipments as per their requirement/agriculture equipments to the extent of the target, on the principle of first-come-first-serve. Under the scheme, a waiting list will also be prepared by booking up to 300 percent against the target. There will be two types of beneficiaries under the scheme. In which individual farmers can get up to 50 percent subsidy on one type and two different types of agricultural machinery and up to 80 percent grant is allowed to FPOs, Gram Panchayats and cooperative societies on the establishment of farm machinery banks.
Aadhar card is mandatory for farmer registration on the portal. In case of non-availability of Aadhar card, it is mandatory to provide the enrollment number of the application made for Aadhar card. There will be an option to get OTP on the mobile number already available on the departmental portal to issue tokens for agricultural machinery and agricultural defense equipment. If the mobile number available on the portal is closed, then the beneficiary can complete the further process by getting OTP on the new mobile number.
It will be mandatory for the farmers to buy all the machines from the companies empaneled by the Agriculture Department, UP (whose list is available on the departmental portal) and from the registered manufacturer companies and their authorized sellers on the upyantracking.in portal. He told that Rs.5000 for agricultural machines with grant of more than Rs.01 lakh and Rs.2500 security deposit will be payable for agricultural machines with grant of less than Rs.01 lakh, after the token is generated, the banks are displaying it on the portal. The amount will be deposited in the account and a photocopy of the challan of the amount deposited to the bank will be deposited in the office. The agricultural equipment purchased by the farmer must be certified by the FMTTI of the Government of India and other central institutions recognized by the Government of India. To the extent of the target set of the scheme, on the principle of “first-come-first-served” tokens of instruments and equipment will be confirmed and benefited from the grant.
