Initiatives taken to speed up Covid vaccination and making Ayushman cards, four day campaign starts Thursday

Lucknow: Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate/Chief Development Officer in-charge,  Riya Kejriwal, an online meeting was held  regarding COVID vaccination and Ayushman card.

In the meeting, it was told by the in-charge District Magistrate/Chief Development Officer that from 8th to 11th September all rural and urban areas in the district would be vaccinated by conducting a campaign of precautionary doses of Covid and those left out of Covid vaccination.

In-charge District Magistrate / Chief Development Officer instructed that the campaign related to Covid vaccination should be organized according to the micro plan. So that no person can miss vaccination. Along with this, the campaign running from Thursday to make Ayushman card should be run effectively. He directed that those areas in the city should be identified where children in the age group of 12 to 18 years have not been vaccinated against Covid and those who have not received the precautionary dose of Covid vaccine, the place should be selected in coordination with the councilor. to be done. And accordingly Covid vaccination sessions should be organized.

He said that for making Ayushman cards, it should be ensured that maximum number of Ayushman cards are made by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), and Panchayat Assistants. Ayushman cards of Antyodaya card holders should also be made at the shops of Kotdars or through Panchayat Assistants or VLEs. All the departments should make these two campaigns successful with mutual coordination. Wide publicity should also be done to make both these campaigns successful.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Aggarwal told that along with getting the vaccine of Covid, follow the behavior of Covid. Wear a mask when you go out of the house, maintain a physical distance of two yards, wash your hands frequently with soap and water, or sanitize your hands with a sanitizer. District Immunization Officer Dr. M.K. Singh informed that children of 12 to 14 years of age are being vaccinated against Corbevax and adolescents of 15-18 years are being vaccinated against Covaxin. The second vaccine is being given 28 days after the first vaccination of Corbevax and Covaxin. All people above 18 years of age are being vaccinated against Covishield and Covaxin. The second vaccine for Covishield is being administered 84 days after the first vaccine. People who have received both doses of the vaccine are being given a precautionary dose of the same vaccine. All these vaccines are being given free of cost in the health centers. The precautionary dose is being given 6 months after the second vaccination.

In the online meeting, District Surveillance Officer and Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Milind Vardhan, Nodal Officer of Ayushman Yojana and Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. K. D. Mishra, District Health Education and Information Officer Yogesh Raghuvanshi, District School Inspector, Basic Education Officer, Assistant Basic Education Officer, Superintendent of all Rural and Urban CHCs and Development Block Officers of all blocks also joined.
