Investors give Uttar Pradesh thumbs up at U.P. Leadership Summit 2022

Lucknow: The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of U.P.  organised U.P. Leadership Summit at Hotel Taj, Lucknow. The objective of the Leadership Summit was to lay down a blueprint for a 1 Trillion dollar economy in the next five years. The U.P. Leadership Summit focused on Investors Summit coming up in February next year.
The organizers found favour among investors with major success. It saw the participation of over 200 delegates including Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak,  Industries Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, industrialists, bureaucrats, Investors, members among others.
L.K Jhunjhunwala, President welcomed delegates and presented the feedback of the members for the welfare of trade, commerce and industry.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Uttar Pradesh applauded the contribution of Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of U.P. in enhancing the industrial and business growth in Uttar Pradesh.
The Deputy Chief Minister welcomed the investors present in the summit and assured all possible support to the investors. He informed that UP Govt. has created a separate cell to resolve the problems of investors.
The Deputy Chief Minister has appreciated the efforts of the Chamber in promoting the investors in the state. The Deputy Chief Minister in his message said that Uttar Pradesh is the fastest growing economy in India and is maintaining Zero tolerance against crime.
The law and order situation has improved significantly.  Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Industry Minister was happy to see the investors and the summit objective supporting the U.P. Govt. Nandi has given a target of Rs 1,50,000 crore investment in Uttar Pradesh. Nandi has also assured all possible support to the investors. He also requested investors to give proposals for investment in all the regions of Uttar Pradesh.  Nandi has also assured that the Govt. notification pertaining to different incentives as declared in UP Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022.
The Minister conferred Life Time Achievement Award to Ajay Khanna, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India for his dedicated and committed service to the bank and the nation.  Khanna gratefully acknowledged the Award. The Life Time Achievement Award was also conferred to Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder, Sulabh International for his exemplenery contribution in promoting health and hygiene throughout the nation.
Awanish Awasthi, IAS, Advisor to CM has congratulated the Chamber for inviting investors and supporting U.P. mission of $ One Trillion Economy. He has suggested to form a core team and laision with state government.
Prof. D.P. Singh, Education Advisor to CM welcomed the investors and assured support from his core team.  Arvind Kumar explained the various significant provisions and incentives in investment.
The main attraction of the UP Leadership Summit was participation of over 100 investors amounting over Rs 1.2 Lakh crore. The prominent among the investors were  D.P. Mishra of Soltherm Energy Solution Pvt. Ltd.,  Aaditya Manjal, CMD, Hero Cycles, Sardar Omkar Singh, Chairman, Avon Cycle,  T.R. Mishra, Vice President, Chamber of Commerce undertaking. The investors were introduced by  Sanjay Sinha, Director, Ekana Marketing & Sports. They were welcomed by the audience present in the summit. The Chamber has assured all possible support in their mission.
Session was also addressed by  Pranjal Yadav, IAS, Secretary MSME who explained the various provisions of UP MSME Policy 2022.

A MOU was exchanged between  Manish Khemka, Chairman Economic Policy and Taxation Committee, Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of U.P. and Kotak Mahindra Bank to establish a free facilitation centre for deposit of Income Tax and GST for investors and businessmen.
The Summit was spearheaded by the likes of  Shailendra Jain, Past President,  Tariq Hasan Naqvi,  Vineet Gupta,  Sandeep Saxena,  Virendra Nath Gupta, CEO R.K. Sharan,  Sanjay Gupta, President, Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal,  Manish Khemka, CA Sujeet Singh, Rajeev Kakkar, and other delegates representing trade, commerce and industry all over India.
