Lucknow: PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the support of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium, Development Institute, Govt. of India has launched the IP Clinic – Camp for “On the Spot Filing and Counselling Session” on IPR on 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month between 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Anybody can visit PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lucknow or connect virtually at free of cost to avail the benefit in this IP Clinic.
The objectives of IP Clinic is to assist in filling and prosecution IP application related patent and trade mark, to provide general advisory on different intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs, geographical indication, to encourage MSMEs and start- ups to make better use of IPR system and make it an integral part of their business and to advice on filling appropriate IP applications depending on the type of Intellectual Property involved. IPR Experts conducted one to one interactive and solution based counselling on IPR strategy, approach and budgeting.
Rahul Bhagga, Adastra IP (IPR Experts) said the increasing advantage of intangible assets as a source of value creation for the firms had made intellectual property rights more attractive. They also informed about the procedures and importance of securing the intellectual property of an enterprise and its implications in the global markets. They also said the Government had a special focus on this sector thus there is seamless support environment enabled for the benefit of the MSMEs and the start-ups.
The IP Clinic was moderated by Atul Srivastava Resident Director, PHD Chamber. The camp was very well accepted and several questions were put to the Experts by the participants which made the session extremely interactive.
