Lucknow: Two miscreants of Irani gang arrested in a police encounter escaped from Trauma Center Lucknow on Wednesday. The inspectors and soldiers engaged in their security remained mere spectators. Taking strict action in the matter, the Superintendent of Police has suspended seven policemen including the Inspector.
On July 9, police and SOG had an encounter with miscreants near Kanha village of Dalmau Kotwali, in which four miscreants including Irfan and Inzamam of Bada village, Shahganj district Jaunpur were apprehended. Inzamam and Irfan were shot in the leg. His treatment was going on in the district hospital. Both were referred to Trauma Center Lucknow on Tuesday evening.
To keep an eye on these, Daroga Mohit Kumar, Head Constable Lalsa Chauhan, Constable Mukesh Sahu, Mahesh Singh, Shakti Singh, Sachin Gautam and Anand Kumar were deputed from Dalmau Kotwali. On Wednesday morning, both the miscreants escaped by dodging the police. When this information came to the police of the district, the captain again engaged the SOG to nab the miscreants.
SOG in-charge Amresh Tripathi is engaged in the arrest of miscreants in Lucknow. Superintendent of Police Alok Priyadarshi said that action will be taken against the personnel who are negligent in their work. Police teams have been deployed to nab Inzamam and Irfan.
Six miscreants were caught in two encounters: On June 23, near Mansha Devi in the city, there was a ruckus of one lakh with a businessman from Lucknow. Through the CC footage, the police were searching for the miscreants, who were caught in an encounter on July 8 near Salon’s List. When the criminal history of Nisar Hussain, resident of Mehdibagh in Farrukhabad and Tahir Ali of Bhanpur police station Chola Mandir of Bhopal was investigated, it was found that both are crooks of Irani gang. During their interrogation, four other gang accomplices came to know, who were caught in a police encounter on July 9. These included Inzamam and Irfan, who have escaped from the trauma center.
Plaster is on his leg, he ran limping: Both have plaster on their feet. Both have come out of KGMU limping. The footage of both has also been found in the CC camera installed in KGMU. Inspector said that CC cameras installed on the main roads outside KGMU are being scrutinized. No complaint has been received in this regard yet. A case will be registered as soon as the complaint is received.
