ISKCON Temple celebrates Radhashtami festival with full customs and traditions

Lucknow: Like every year, this year also Radhashtami Festival was celebrated at Sri Sri Radha Raman Bihari Mandir (ISKCON) Sushant Golf City, Lucknow.

The program was inaugurated by the President of ISKCON Temple, Lucknow,  Aparimye Shyamdas Prabhuji, by worshiping  Lord Shri Radha Raman Bihari Ji and Radha Rani. After that other programs were held in the presence of senior devotees, members of core committee and dignitaries of Lucknow and its surroundings. Along with this, there were hymns of God and dance by the devotees etc. The program ended with Aarti and Bhojan Prasadam.

The speaker  Aditya Narayan Prabhu, told that in order to know . Radha Rani, it is very important to know Sri Krishna. We cannot know Radha Rani without knowing the form of Shri Krishna, he told that Shri Krishna and Radha are one. Actually Radha Rani is an extended form of Shri Krishna. So if you want to know about Shri Radha Rani, then you have to know about Krishna.

Prasadam (bhandara) started at 02:00 pm, in which all the dignitaries of Lucknow and nearby were present. In the end, the temple president  Aparimaya Shyamdas Prabhu ji thanked  the journalists (print and electronic media) present for their continuous cooperation.
