Lucknow: The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the original Telugu film RRR has received the Oscar Award in the ‘Original Song’ category at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony. Music composer MM Keeravani received the Oscar trophy for ‘Naatu Naatu’ and said ‘namaste’ to everyone at the ceremony.
Singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaal Bhairav graced the stage with a live performance on RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the Oscar Awards night. During this, all the people present in the stadium danced to the tune of ‘Naatu Naatu’ and the song also got a standing ovation.
RRR is the first Indian film to get a nomination in this category. At the same time, India’s short documentary film The Elephant Whispers has created history by winning the Oscars 2023. Producer Guneet Monga’s film is being given a lot of love.
