Lucknow: The National Divyang T20 Cricket Cup, which has been going on for 8 days in the capital Lucknow concluded. The final match in this competition was played between Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana. In which Jammu and Kashmir bagged the trophy by defeating Haryana. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak attended the closing ceremony of the National Disabled T20 Cricket Cup as the chief guest.
Apart from this, India’s winner Para athlete Bharat Ratna Deepa Malik was also present. A total of 20 teams from across the country participated in the eight-day National Disability T20 Cricket Cup tournament. They were divided into four groups during the competition.
A total of 43 matches were played between all the teams in this competition. The National Disabled T20 Cricket Cup was inaugurated on 31 October, on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, at the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium.
The National Disabled T20 Cricket Cup competition was organized by DCCCI i.e. Differently Abled Cricket Council of India. After the closing ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak while congratulating all the players said that I congratulate the winner Jammu and Kashmir and the runner up Haryana.
He further told that he told the organizers of the cricket that this competition should be held annually. Apart from this, he said that our government is working continuously for the upliftment of the disabled. Chief Minister Yogi ji has asked for help from all levels. We will make arrangements for accommodation, high quality education, food, for sports, for training and other facilities for the differently-abled.
