Jewellery Expo brings Mahabharata Alive
Agra: Everyone is liking the chariot of ‘Mahabharata’ in the Jewellers Expo of UP. After 6 years of hard work, ‘Kapidhwaj’ has been made from diamond, gold and ruby pearls. It is so beautiful that whoever sees it for the first time is left awestruck. Actually, Uttar Pradesh’s biggest jewellery expo was organized in Agra. More than 90 jewelers from different parts of the country have set up stalls in this expo. Everyone is liking silver anklets, girdle and sandals. The most special among these is Arjun’s chariot.
40 artisans have prepared it together. The price of the chariot is in crores. Despite the demand, the jewellers who made it do not want to sell it. Kapidhwaj was the chariot of Arjuna in Mahabharata. Its charioteer was Lord Shri Krishna. There is a Kapi flag on top of this chariot. It is made by V Jewellers of Agra. Vikas Anand Verma, owner of V Jewels, said, “I am a devotee of Lord Krishna. In the Mahabharata, Shri Krishna gave the essence of Geeta to Arjun while sitting on the Kapidhwaja chariot.”
