Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner go their own ways

New York: After four years of marriage, fan favorite Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner have filed for divorce, claiming that their union is now “irretrievably broken.”The artist and the former “Game of Thrones” actor decided to separate after dating for three years, getting married in 2019, and having two kids together.

According to rumors, Joe is requesting shared custody of their kids.

Joe and Sophie have a prenuptial agreement in their divorce papers because the pop star wants a court to arrange a parenting schedule between him and the actress from “The Dark Phoenix” that provides for “frequent and continuing contact with both parties.”

In 2016, the pair made their initial connection over Instagram DMs. In 2019, Sophie revealed to Harper’s Bazaar UK that “we had a lot of mutual friends, and they had been trying to introduce us for a long time.”

Joe and Sophie started dating in earnest a few months after they met on social media, with the musician even joking that he was “willing to settle down for her”.

About a year after they started dating, the pair announced their engagement in October 2017.

The couple’s disparities in lifestyle, attitude, and compatibility, which had become worse over time, were a reflection of their marital issues, which had been going on for more than six months.
