Joint Advisor, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India inspected the 345 MLD Bharwara Sewage Treatment Plant

• Dr. V.K. Chaurasia, Joint Advisor, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GoI expressed his happiness over the work done by Suez India Pvt.Ltd. at the STP.

Lucknow: Joint Advisor, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, Dr. V.K. Chaurasia, on Saturday, inspected the maintenance and operations done by Suez India at the 345 MLD Bharwara Sewage Treatment Plant. He examined the work done along the guidelines issued by the Central Public Health and Environmental Engineering Organization (CPHEEO).

Dr. V.K. Chaurasia was accompanied by Executive Engineer of Swachh Bharat Mission Mr. R.K Lal; Divisional Manager of Swachh Bharat Mission, Mr. Vaibhav Pandey; GM of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Mr. Rajesh; Ram GM of Water Department, Kailash Gupta; Project Director of Suez India. Shri Rajesh Mathpal and Suez India Project Manager, Manmeet Kaur, Bharwara STP Plant Manager, Amit Shah; Suez India PR Manager Sumit Singh and other important dignitaries.

During the inspection, Dr. Chaurasia closely assessed all the ongoing works in Bharwara STP and expressed satisfaction over the Operations & Maintenance carried out by SUEZ India.

He said, “I am happy that the Bharwara Plant is being well managed by Suez India. There is no sign of foul smell anywhere in the entire plant. The technology which is being used by Suez is the need of the hour and it will prove to be of great help in the field of sewage management in the coming years.”
