Lucknow: Hon’ble Justice Krishna Murari, Former Justice Supreme Court of India welcomed the formation and setting up of Centre for Excellence in Arbitration and Mediation, a first of its kind Arbitration and Mediation Institution in Uttar Pradesh, while he visited the centre at Lucknow and met the Trustees.
He said “The Centre of Excellence for mediation and Arbitration is a very good initiative started at Lucknow. I feel happy to be associated and enrolled as arbitrator with the Centre. If our country is to become an international hub for arbitration, more such Centres of Excellence are required to be established.
I highly appreciate the efforts of Board of Trustees of the Centre and wish it to be a great success”. Also, present in the gathering were former Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, Hon’ble Justice Govind Mathur who joined from Jodhpur, Prashant Chandra, Senior Advocate, Manish Mehrotra, Advocate and a renowned Arbitration Lawyer, Pravir Kumar, IAS (Retd.) and Mukesh Bahadur Singh, Chairman IACC and State Head ICCC , Manish Mehrotra Advocate highlighted the role and future of dispute resolution through ADR process and its major contribution in helping of boosting of economy by the State of Uttar Pradesh, Mukesh Singh expressed the investors and Industries point of view highlighting the role of CEMA ( centre of excellence for mediation and arbitration ) in ease of doing business in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
