Kanpur CP Tightens screws over faulty Mafia Numbers

Kanpur: There are clear orders of the government to take strict action on land mafia, but it is surprising that there is not a single land mafia in the 30 police station areas of Kanpur Commissionerate.

This amazing fact recorded in the police records has been taken seriously by the Police Commissioner IPS BP Jogdand and by giving notice to the DCPs of the concerned police stations, orders have been given to conduct these investigations again.

The police have recently included MLA Irfan Solanki and his seven henchmen in the land mafia list. After counting the nine accused including the MLA, the number of land mafia in the police file has reached 28.

CP Jogdand is also taking swift action against them, but if experts are to be believed, the list of so many land mafia in Kanpur is not coming out in the limelight.
