Kanpur: Divisional commissioner Dr. Raj Shekhar has inaugurated the Urban Health Center, Nehru Nagar for the representatives of print and electronic media above 45 years of age and their families to protect them from COVID-19.
On this occasion, representatives of the print and electronic media of the district and their families got the COVID vaccination. On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Raj Shekhar said that in the COVID period, for the last one year, the representatives of the media have been in the field and have given their cooperation in compiling the news and have made the public aware by bringing the right facts to the fore.
He said that it was necessary to get vaccination done of media people. He thanked the Chief Minister in particular and said that he understood the need of the people of the media and their families to protect them from infection of COVID and got them vaccinated.
He said, the dedicated health center set up in Kanpur city of the state to get the media representatives vaccinated is a good initiative. He asked media representatives to get vaccinations to protect themselves and their families from COVID-19 and to protect them from COVID infection and to bring its positive message to the common man, so that the common people also get vaccinated.
