Recently, Karan was involved in discussions with several big filmmakers including Anurag Kashyap, Srinidhi Shetty, Dulquer Salmaan and many more. The discussion also covered the budget of Bollywood and South films, during which Karan Johar said about the budget, if he launches a new face in the film industry today, the audience will not like to watch the film.

During this conversation, Karan Johar said that if he launches any actor or actress, no one will come to watch the film. He said during the conversation that he does not have separate marketing expenses, so he will not launch new stars.
