KooHindiFest 2021 makes communicating in Hindi a trend online

Lucknow:  #KooHindiFest 2021 celebrated the prosperity and popularity of Hindi in India on the first Hindi language festival organized by India’s microblogging and social media platform Koo.

More than six lakh people from 10 states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana have expressed in Hindi – the most popular language in India.

They collectively participated in various competitions and activities designed to honor the heritage of the spoken language. From common users to well-known politicians and people from all sections of the society, they enthusiastically participated in the campaign on Koo. The enthusiasm and participation of the traditionally ‘non-Hindi’ states was remarkable.

The week-long celebration included various cultural activities and content that engaged with users on Koo. Some of these activities included #Kavishala, #MittikaSwad, #GeetSagar, #PictureAbhiBaki Hai and #EkDinKanayak.

A spokesperson for Koo  said, “With #KooHindiFest 2021, we aim to celebrate the richness of Hindi language which is one of the most widely spoken official languages ​​in India. However, the initiative is much bigger – it aims to remind people and emphasize the importance of the different indigenous languages ​​spoken across the country. #KooHindiFest 2021 was launched on September 08, 2021 with the launch of Euphoria’s new album ‘Sail’ by Palash Sen.
