Kumar Keshav felicitated with ‘Man Of Excellence Award, 2021-22’ for successfully executing Lucknow And Kanpur Metro Rail Projects

Lucknow: Kumar Keshav, MD, UPMRC was today felicitated with prestigious ‘Man of Excellence Award 2021-22’ by Indian Achiever’s Forum. Indian Achievers’ Forum has been awarding different personalities since 2 decades for their achievements and contribution in nation building.

This year  Kumar Keshav was selected for the Indian Achiever’s Award in recognition of his valuable contribution in expanding the metro network in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Kumar Keshav as the Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd and has been instrumental in successfully commencing the commercial run of Kanpur Metro’s Priority Corridor from ‘IIT Kanpur to Motijheel’ in a record time of 2 years and 1.5 months.

Under his dynamic leadership the 23 km long North-South Corridor from ‘CCS Airport to Munshipulia’ of Lucknow Metro project was also successfully completed in just 4.5 years which was 36 days ahead of the scheduled timeframe.

While receiving this award,  Kumar Keshav said, “Since the inception of Lucknow Metro we are committed in building world class public transit system for the citizens. After successfully providing the best passenger services to the people of Lucknow, we are happy to commence metro services in Kanpur as well. These awards motivate us to continuously work hard to deliver and make significant advancements in enhancing the urban mobility network of cities.”
